PRE-Eclipse
PReparations

Eclipse preparations are happening at multiple levels - within Uvalde County, Texas Hill Country River Region, and Hill Country Alliance. Local stakeholder monthly meetings; and a dedicated Eclipse Coordinator will be commencing soon.

Community engagement and information sessions will be scheduled. We are always looking for our local community to become involved, especially as community ambassadors and volunteers.

Uvalde Community

The town of Uvalde is moving forward following the terrible tragedy of May 24, 2022. During your visit, you can show your support by visiting locations that are dedicated to the lives of those lost. There are murals, memorials, and gardens in the city of Uvalde.
