Great North AMerican Eclipse
The total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 will cross three countries, including the US, Mexico, and Canada. Over 50 million people are expected to view this eclipse.
The Texas Hill Country River Region, in Uvalde County, lies within the path of totality for the 2024 total solar eclipse. Big celebrations are being planned, including live broadcasts so others further along the path can join in on the excitement of the Moon's shadow arriving on U.S. soil. |
Texas: the state to be
The Great State of Texas is considered to be one of the best states for viewing due to favorable weather, and is predicted to have the highest visitation along the whole path. These estimates range between a conservative 180,000 to a higher 720,000 eclipse visitors traveling into the path specifically for the eclipse.
